Recently I posted a super easy toddler activity that
involved glow sticks in the bathtub. Just because your baby is now a teenager
doesn’t mean glow sticks in the dark lose their appeal. You can use this activity to celebrate the 4th of July or a child's birthday or graduation but any
occasion and a long summer night will do.
All you need is a camera that allows you to slow down the
shutter speed. This works best with a tripod but you can set the camera on a
table or hold very still. Complete instructions are found here. Find another great video tutorial here. You can use
sparklers, glow sticks, or flashlights to write your magic words. Be creative and get a team of teens to
light up the night with words and celebrate together!
