Meet The Sisters

We are 2 sisters, moms, and teachers who love education and decided to "pool" our resources to share our love of learning. When we began this blog, we were living side by side with our combined total of nine kids (and two patient husbands) in a house with a pond in American Fork, Utah. We are thrilled you found us! You can enroll in our camps and summer fun challenge or just dip your toes in the ideas on our blog. We hope after swimming around a bit you will leave excited about exploring the world with your own families and learning and laughing together. Oh, and you are welcome to come feed the fish anytime.

Deborah Pace Rowley
My name is Deborah Pace Rowley. I am the oldest in a family of 7 children, 5 boys and 2 girls. I waited 16 long years before my baby sister Tiffany arrived. I have been married to an amazing husband for 22 years and have been a mother for 20. My five terrific kids range in age from 9 to 19. I love teaching, reading, and writing and sharing these passions with others. I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Brigham Young University. I have taught preschool, junior high and high school and I am currently teaching a 5th and 6th grade combined class at Liahona Preparatory Academy in Pleasant Grove, Utah. I am also the author of several picture books and idea books for parents including Before They Turn 12 and The Miracle of the Wooden Shoes.

Tiffany Pace Rudd
My name is Tiffany Pace Rudd. I am the youngest in our family, joining the family 16 years after Deborah. She went off to college when I was just a few years old and left me to deal with 5 big brothers on my own. She made up for it though, when she made me an aunt at only 10 years old. Despite the age difference, Deb and I have stayed good friends and are a lot alike. I also have an amazing husband and have been married for 8 years. We have 4 incredible children ages 7, 5, 2 and 1. I love being a mom, teaching, reading, and blogging. I graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and have taught preschool and elementary school. I love doing all kinds of educational activities with my children.

  3. I think it's so cool how you and your sister are close despite your age difference. Your blog is super cute, too. (And you're an amazing teacher, Sister Rowley.)
